This unit presents 6 sessions:
1º Session: Dr.-Ing. Markus Will presents the agenda for the Module Knowledge Management Concepts & Instruments and introduces the speakers for the individual sessions.
2º Session: Dr.-Ing Ronald Orth introduces the Fraunhofer Organisation and highlights its cooperation with SENAI. A specific focus is put on the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology (IPK) and its holistic approach towards knowledge management is explained.
3º Session: Dr. Eng. Victoria Santos explains how knowledge management was implemented at the ISI for Biosynthetics and Fibers.
4º Session: r.-Ing. Markus Will dives deeper into the topic of intellectual capital management and its importance for the strategic view on organizations and their intangible resource base. In detail, the Intellectual Capital Statement (ICS) instrument and its implementation process are introduced.
5º Session: Knowledge Management (KM) implementation process is illustrated by Dr.-Ing. Markus Will and Dr.-Ing.
6º Session: Dr.-Ing. Markus Will highlights the different aspects of Change Management. In particular, the motivation factors from the Fraunhofer IPK Intervention Model for Motivation are illustrated and tools to achieve motivation goals are explained.
